CurseForge

On the app

1. Download, install and launch CurseForge App
   • On Windows, the standalone version is recommended.
2. Select Minecraft from the grid or sidebar
3. Search “HM Basic Play”
4. Click Install
   • Optional: Select the version you want by instead clicking the row → Versions → ⤓.
5. To run the modpack, hover on the modpack icon and click Play
6. Once the Minecraft Launcher has opened, click Play again

On the website

1. Download and install CurseForge App
   • On Windows, the standalone version is recommended.
2. Go to the listing page on CurseForge
3. Click Install via App and accept the prompt in your browser
   • Optional: Select the version you want by instead clicking Files → the version you want → Install.
4. The app should open and download should start
5. To run the modpack, hover on the modpack icon and click Play
6. Once the Minecraft Launcher has opened, click Play again

Modrinth

On the app

1. Download, install and launch Modrinth App
2. Under “Discover content” section, look for “HM Basic Play”
3. Click ⤓ Install
   • Optional: Select the version you want by instead clicking the tile → Versions → ⤓ on the version you want.
4. The modpack will now install.
5. Once installed, go to |||\ “Library” and hover on the created instance
6. Click ▶️ button to play.

On the website

Note

You can currently only install the latest version through the website. To select a specific version, install through the app instead.

1. Download and install Modrinth App
2. Go to the listing page on Modrinth
3. Click ⤓ Download, then Install with Modrinth App
4. The modpack will now install.
5. Once installed, go to |||\ “Library” and hover on the created instance
6. Click ▶️ button to play.

Prism Launcher

1. Download, install and launch Prism Launcher
2. Click Add Instance
3. Select Modrinth tab from the left
4. Search “HM Basic Play”
5. Click OK
   • Optional: Select the version you want by selecting it on the dropdown before you click OK.
6. The modpack will now install.
7. Once installed, double-click the icon to play.
